We are proud to support Starlight Super Steps, a national challenge that helps make hospital a happier place for sick kids and their families.
Every minute of every day a child is admitted to hospital in Australia. For those kids, hospital can be a world of tests, procedures and uncertainty. Starlight Children's Foundation partners with health professionals to bring fun, joy and laughter into that world, because happiness is essential to sick kids' overall health and wellbeing.
Through programs like Captain Starlight, Starlight Express Rooms, Livewire, the Healthier Futures Initiative, Starlight Wishes and Starlight Moments, Starlight now creates more than five million positive experiences for seriously ill children across Australia each year.
Super Steps is Starlight's 10,000 steps a day challenge held throughout May. Individuals and teams commit to walking or running 10,000 steps a day and raising funds to support these vital hospital programs. In 2025 alone Starlight delivered more than 163,000 Starlight Express Room visits, 118 remote community visits by Captain Starlight and 424 Starlight Wishes, impact that is only possible thanks to fundraisers and donors.
